The Atlanta Storytelling Festival is a dream that's about to become a reality.^
March 27-30, at the Academy Theatre in Avondale Estates, adults and children will have the opportunity to see Storytelling in its many and varied forms -- through words, of course, but also through dance, music and more. Over the Festival's four days, more than 30 tellers will present stories From the Edge, from the lives and imaginations of women, men, African-, Hispanic-, Asian- and Caucasian-American, young and old, straight and GLBTQ. There are six 90-minute programs for adults, four 45-minutes ones for kids, two family workshops -- and an open mike, so you can have the opportunity to tell your stories to the world. Tickets range from $5-$15, and group rates are available. You can find all the details at the Festival's website: www.myspace.com/atlantastorytellingfest. If you have questions or if you'd like a flyer mailed to you, just give us a call at 404 297-0904, or e-mail atlantastorytellingfestival@yahoo.com.
