Writing for Specific Cultures, a panel examining the challenges in creating culturally accurate material by playwrights who are both of certain cultures (such as women, gay, African American, disabled and seniors) and those who are attempting to write cross-culturally. Participating playwrights include Patrick Cuccaro, Playwright in Residence, Theatre Decatur; Dr. Shirlene Holmes, Professor, Department of Communications, Georgia State University; Gene-Gabriel Moore, Artistic Director, Not Merely Players; and freelance playwrights Sondra Ilgenfritz, Mary Miller and Stephen Peace.Venue:
